Tascam DR-60D or Zoom H6?

Recently two new field recorders came about entering into competitions with other field recorders currently available at the same range ($350-$399).

At MDI, we have been shooting with DSLRs for sometime and are looking to better audio equipment to compliment the visual look. It is a hard choice and so we decided to get the Zoom H6 and Tascam DR-60D for a spin.

Both are feature rich, both has their weakness, ultimately it’s based on the application.
