After the bombing of Pearl Harbor, several thousand Japanese American families were taken from their homes along the West Coast and placed into internment camps. "An American History: The Resettlement of Japanese Americans in Cleveland" was made possible through a grant from the National and Cleveland chapters of the Japanese American Citizens League.
