for their dedication in the creation of a community documentary. You

documentary premiered at the Cleveland Museum of
Natural History
on April 08, 2000 from 2pm to 4pm. Over 110
people attended the FREE event.

After the bombing of Pearl Harbor, several thousand Japanese American families were taken from their homes along the West Coast and placed into internment camps. After their incarceration, many of these Japanese Americans were resettled into communities throughout the country. One such location was Cleveland, OH. Through the stories of some Cleveland residents who expereinced this mass migration, this documentary explores an often overlooked part of America's history. Read the Press... |
